Why Stuffed Animals?
Each child brought into our care is given a choice of their own brand new stuffed animal when they arrive at the Kottage, but supply has dropped critically low. Although it may seem small, these stuffed animals are used as stabilization tools to help our little ones self-soothe during crisis transitions and are a critical piece of every child’s stay at Kids Kottage.
In honour of Child & Youth Mental Health Day on May 7, we are launching a Stuffy Drive to help reach our goal of 500 new stuffed animals for our little ones.

To further support national Child & Youth Mental Health Day, a generous donor has stepped up to match all donations made on May 7 up to $5000!
That means every $10 donation can have double the impact, helping us provide comfort, care, and a cuddly friend to twice as many children staying at the Kottage.
