At Kids Kottage Foundation, we believe that when people come together with purpose, real change happens. That’s why our partnership with ATCO EPIC (Employees Participating in Communities) is so meaningful. More than just a fundraising program, ATCO EPIC is a deeply personal, employee-led initiative that empowers ATCO team members to give back to the causes that matter most to them.

Through ATCO EPIC, employees not only raise funds, but amplify their impact through corporate matching and volunteerism. Their generosity directly supports the work we do every day, providing 24-hour emergency care for children in crisis and helping families move from instability to strength.

Thanks to the compassion and energy of ATCO employees, children have a safe place to stay, and families receive the help they need to rebuild.

Kids Kottage Selected as a 2025 ATCO EPIC Feature Charity

We’re thrilled to share that Kids Kottage Foundation has been chosen as a 2025 Feature Charity for the ATCO EPIC (Employees Participating in Communities) Campaign!

Running from October 20 to 31, 2025, this year’s ATCO EPIC campaign theme is "Support Where it Matters: Health, Safety, Housing"—a mission that aligns perfectly with the heart of what we do.

Since 2006, ATCO EPIC has raised nearly $59 million for charities across Canada, with 100% of donations going directly to organizations like ours. ATCO even covers all administrative costs.

We’re honoured to be part of this impactful program and look forward to working with ATCO employees in 2025 to support children and families in crisis throughout Edmonton.

Together We Have Made a Difference

Fundraising Events: In our first year we raised 30K and are now coming up on our 3rd year.

Volunteerism: Supporting the kids Kottage crisis nursery through volunteer work.

Yearly Contributions: Consistent support through annual fundraising efforts, including 50/50 draws and proceeds from the Twoonie Bar at Christmas celebrations.

Gift-in-Kind Donations: Essential support through initiatives like diaper drives to meet immediate needs.

Over $42 million raised for children and families in need
Making an impact in the communities where we live and work is one of RSM’s greatest triumphs. Through the Power of Love, our caring professionals go above and beyond to support children and families across the nation.

Power of Love is RSM’s annual stewardship campaign where each of our offices select a local youth-focused charity to support through fundraising and volunteering opportunities. Over 70 RSM offices across the US, Canada, India and El Salvador participate each year with efforts being amplified by the RSM US Foundation.

In addition to raising more than $42 million since inception, our people have volunteered more than 231,000 hours and donated more than $2 million through Dollars for Doers to charities that support the foundation’s mission to build tomorrow’s middle market leaders by enhancing educational outcomes and the quality of life for children and families. Each year the program supports more than 100 charities in the communities in which we live and work.
