Edmonton Oilers Visit Kids Kottage!

An Afternoon with Connor Brown and Darnell Nurse

This holiday season, we had two very special visitors at Kids Kottage—Edmonton Oilers players Connor Brown and Darnell Nurse! On December 17th, they joined us to bring smiles, laughter, and unforgettable memories to the children staying in our shelter.

During their visit, the players toured the Kottage, played hockey in the playroom, decorated Christmas cookies, and joined the kids in arts and crafts. The joy and excitement filled the room as the children got the chance to meet the players and share these special moments together.

We’re incredibly thankful to Connor, Darnell, and the Edmonton Oilers Foundation for showing up for the children who need it most. Their kindness and generosity truly made this holiday season brighter and will be cherished for years to come.

At Kids Kottage, these moments of care and community remind us why we do what we do – because every child deserves to feel safe, loved, and supported. Thank you, Oilers, for helping us make that possible!
