12 YEARS OF BEING THERE FOR YA – Can Man Dan Foundation 

We are very happy to announce that We’re Here For Ya Day is returning to Edmonton for the 12th consecutive year! 

For twelve years, Can Man Dan and his partners have been supplying thousands of low-income children and their families with all of the basic necessities for the back-to-school season, which is traditionally a struggling time for families on a limited budget.

This year, free backpacks filled with school supplies, nutritious food hampers, and high quality haircuts will be made available to families and children who are in need.

This year’s We’re Here For Ya Day event will take place on August 25th, 2024,  from 10am – 6pm. The event is free for everyone to attend, but please note that supplies are limited. The event will be held at Shadified Salon & Spa (12222 137 Ave, Edmonton, Alberta).

EVENT INFORMATION: *DROP IN ONLY – FIRST COME FIRST SERVE*

*STRICT TAKE-A-NUMBER SYSTEM*
– Every family member must be present to take a number, no exceptions
– Only 2,000 numbered tickets available
– Supplies are limited, so please come early
– Numbers will be handed out to those in line only starting at 8 AM on August 25th

*PLEASE BRING A FORM OF GOVERNMENT-ISSUED ID FOR EACH FAMILY MEMBER*

*ONLY CHILDREN UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE ARE ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE BACKPACKS & SCHOOL SUPPLIES, AND MUST BE PRESENT AT THE EVENT. ADULTS AND CHILDREN ARE ELIGIBLE FOR HAIRCUTS AND FOOD HAMPERS.*
